“BowiE HAPPY International Fan Club” has been established since September 4th 1999, it began at the first fans birthday gathering with Mr. Bowie Lam. The name of the fan club has been named by Bowie Lam himself. The design of the fan club name was to involve the BE HAPPY phrase within the name, Bowie wanted to remind all of his fans of his frequent saying to “BE HAPPY”. He wanted everyone to remember to ‘be happy’ everyday.
The purpose of establishing a fan club is for all fans from around the world can gather together to discuss about and give their support to Bowie as a team. And those fans who will be able to get together to go and support Bowie at functions, gatherings, TV events etc… Establishment of the fan club also helps keep in touch and make contact easier for going to functions. Also easier to keep record of the amount of fan members he has throughout the years.

Free of charge. |
| | Newsletters through email about Bowie events and latest news will be sent through group email to all members every month. |
| | Members will be notified beforehand of functions through group email. |
| | Members will be able to attend gatherings held by the fan club. |
| | Members will be notified of any overseas gatherings. |
| | Members should notify us if they want to quit the fan club. |
| | Gathering fees will be charged equally between those members who attend. |
